Poor Julia. The stomach bug finally caught up to her yesterday. She's been a bit warm all day, and after dinner she wanted a bath. So Daddy gave her a bath, and all seemed fine. It wasn't until she was on the diaper-changing station that she got sick. So Adam called me in to help, and I moved her into the bathroom. Poor girl was shivering, because she'd just gotten out of the tub and wasn't completely dry, and she was shaking because she was throwing up. We felt so bad! All we could do to help was comfort her. Daddy got some good cuddle time in last night, once we got her cleaned up. She went to bed early, but woke up after probably less than an hour. Adam brought her out to the living room, and she was super cuddly with him. She didn't want water, or gatorade, or crackers. I had to "trick" her into taking Ibuprofen by putting it in a dropper; she wouldn't drink it out of the little measuring cup. She also didn't want me at all -- just Daddy. But when I left the room to get ready for bed, she got very upset. Thankfully today she seems to be doing better. Hopefully it's all out of her system, and she's on the road to recovery.
Oh, and she has a word for book. It sounds like "bow" or "boo", but she's usually caring one with her, so we know what she's talking about. =)
