11/8/10

While out shopping last week, I found a really cute bedding set for Julia. It will go great with the dog curtains that are still hanging up from when the dogs "lived" in that room. Look how cute!

Julia's vocabulary is quickly growing, and it's hard to keep track of what new words she is learning. She says more, mine, yes, mama, dada, dog, woof, fishies, bye-bye, hi, nuk, hey, shoes. Those are just a few. She's very good at understanding what is being said to her, but like most children, she doesn't always choose to listen. =) I ask her frequently "where's the baby?" and most of the time, she goes to find her doll. But just this weekend, she started coming over to me (more consistently) and pointing to my belly. Then she uncovers my belly, and usually gives it a kiss. =) Poor girl still has no idea what she's in for.

Julia loves to dance. We got her a Weeble-Wobble tree house, and it plays songs or sounds when the Weebles get to the bottom of the slide. When it's songs, she dances. She has even started pushing the trigger button on her own and cycling through until it gets to the song she likes the best. We really need to get it on video and post it.

Julia and Ivy had a great time playing together Saturday night when the family was all together at Dave and Heather's for Grandma Pam's birthday. They were out in the kitchen laughing, singing, dancing, and falling to the floor. I think Dave got some video. It was awesome to watch them have so much fun together
