Autumn turned 9 months old this month! She weighed in at 18.9 pounds (62nd percentile!!), measured 28.5 inches (79th percentile!), and had a head circumference of 18.3 inches (97th percentile). It's odd for us to have a kid in weight and height percentiles over 10! She started sprouting tooth number 6 on Friday, September 19. It's her bottom left second incisor. So yes, she has her top two and bottom two center incisors, her upper right second incisor, and bottom left second incisor. So cutely lopsided! She hasn't started crawling yet, but is starting to inch herself along on her belly. I hate to admit that she sort of has a first word -- Dad. She will look at Adam and say, "Da!" She has a few sounds for other things as well, but this sounds so much like the real word that it's hard to not say it's a first word.

Julia started kindergarten this month! It's all day every day, but that's not a big change for her from daycare. Not surprisingly, she loves it! Her teacher is Miss Ogren, who is a first-year teacher. Miss Ogren has responded quickly to any questions we've had, and has even let us know that Julia has complained about a tummy-ache at school and has kept us up on how that's going. Our first parent-teacher conference is in a couple of weeks, but I don't expect to hear anything but positive comments.
Samantha and I got to spend some quality Sammy-Mommy time together on a Tuesday. We got to go painting together, and had a lot of fun.
Samantha started dance class this month, and is really enjoying it. She has so much spirit!!
