Raising a good kid.

It would appear that we are doing something right when it comes to raising Julia. Yesterday we walked down to Marigold Days in Mantorville and saw Julia's friend Chelsea. At one of the booths I bought Julia 5 headbands, hoping she might wear them. Chelsea and her mom walked by and Julia told her that she had some new headbands. So of course Chelsea tells her mom that *she* wants a headband; her mom said we'll see. As we were parting ways, Julia turns to me, holds out the red headband, and says "I want to give this to Chelsea." So she went over and gave it to her friend. What a wonderful little girl she is. When we saw Chelsea again later, her mom told her to give Julia a hug. She very willingly obliged. Julia told me she wanted to give Chelsea another headband, but her mom said she should keep some for herself. Just so proud of Julia for sharing her things so well.
