Updates and more updates.

Ok, at Samantha's 9 month check up she weighed 7.62 kg (16.76 lb), which is in the 15th percentile. Her length was 69.5 cm (27.4 in), 40th percentile. Her head circumference was 46 cm (18.1 cm), which "dropped" her down to the 93rd percentile. She still isn't quite crawling, but manages to find her way around pretty well. She is loving being able to stand (with help, most of the time), and enjoys playing with toys. I just got her some squeaky building blocks and she really likes those, as well as the little plastic ducks from one of Julia's toys, and Julia's play food. We have yet to try a baby food that Samantha doesn't like. She really likes feeding herself snack foods, too.

It amazes me every day how quickly Julia's vocabulary is growing. She knows her whole name, and loves picking out letters in signs that we see. Today we learned that her letter is "J," Mommy's letter is "M," and Samantha's is "S." When I told her Sammy's letter was "S" and asked her to say that letter, she replied with "T, U" instead! What a smart girl! On our way home from Rochester today we were counting. I started her off with 1, and she made it all the way to 9!!!! Adam informed me later that Julia can go from Q to Z without any prompting! She usually missed a couple for me, but we are still very impressed.
