We got back from our trip to Michigan last night, and Julia did wonderful. She got a little crabby towards the end of the car rides, but considering they were 12.5 and 11.5 hours, who can blame her? She did great while we were out there, especially considering how infrequent and short her naps were.
Julia has started saying the word "hi." And once she starts saying it and you respond, she says it about a dozen times. =) She can also kind of say "more" and "milk," although usually only when we ask her if she wants more or milk, and they both kind of sound the same. When she sees her daddy, she squeals "da!" which is just awesome. She is also getting tooth #8. I noticed before we left last week that she has a mollar coming in on the bottom right, which is odd because she doesn't have her second incisor on that side yet! She is understanding more and more each day, and is able to communicate her needs/wants with us much better all the time, too. She can sign help, more, food, milk, all done, change (diaper), please, hi, and bye. She's starting to be a little dare devil, and likes to stand on toys and boxes.
